What is the function of the eye?
The eye focuses light on the retina. Light enters the eye through the cornea, then the light goes to the iris and the iris controls the amount of light to enter the pupil after the light goes into the pupil, hits the lens and the lens then focuses the light on the retina. The light either hits a rod or cone and is converted into an electrical signal. This then travel to the brain via the optic nerve turning the light into an image.
